You and Rachel Weisz both have the same amount of screentime in Terrence Malick’s next movie

Bewildering genius Terrence Malick has a habit of redefining his movies during the editing. “The Thin Red Line,” for example, was supposed to star Adrien Brody, only his role was significantly slimmed down after the fact. Martin Sheen, Gary Oldman, Bill Pullman and Viggo Mortensen are among the actors who were also reportedly cut.

His next film, “To The Wonder,” stars Ben Affleck and Rachel McAdams. It was also supposed to feature Rachel Weisz, but that’s no longer happening, because her part was apparently cut — along with those of Michael Sheen, Amanda Peet and Barry Pepper. Her role was recast, with the dinosaur from “The Tree of Life” taking her place. (I kid, it was just her scenes being cut. I just had to mention the dinosaur.)
